Pintle and cone belts

Pintle belts and cone belts are used especially during the harvesting of potatoes, bulbs and several vegetable varieties. The delicate crops are separated from clumps, stones, sprouts and foliage without any damage. Bandtransport Europe's pintle belts and cone belts combine the strong rubber profiles with the flexibility of a PVC conveyor belt. 

The rubber pintle or cone mats are attached to a PVC conveyor belt. As a result, this sturdy belt has all the benefits of flexible, light-weight PVC: thermally welded guide ropes can be fitted for instance, and smaller drum diameters are possible than for conventional rubber belts. Besides, the PVC bottom layer reduces the weight of the belt, which benefits the conveyor's drums and bearings.
