Conveyor belts for use in the fish processing industry

Hygiene is of paramount importance in the fish processing industry. Fish and shellfish must be processed as quickly as possible on spotless equipment. Therefore, a number of points must continuously be taken into account: Hygiene, quick cleaning, good release properties (as little adhesion of the product as possible) and a long service life of the belt.

The conveyor belts Bandtransport Europe supplies to the fish processing industry are well-suited for their application. They meet the strict requirements of the international governing bodies FDA, USDA, 3A, and EU. They are oil and grease resistant, wear-resistant – for applications in which products are filleted or cut, but also where sand, scale residue, and shells act on the belt – and are suitable for use at temperatures as low as -40°C. We use high-quality raw materials to ensure our conveyor belts have a long service life.

Fabseal® – no chance for moisture and dirt

As to be expected from conveyor belts that are produced for the fish-processing industry, our conveyor belts have very good release properties and can be cleaned easily. Fabseal® sealed edges can be applied in order to ensure that dirt and moisture cannot penetrate the belt fabric.

Gauze belts

Gauze belts still are the best solution for drainage. We supply gauze belts made of polyester gauze in various mesh sizes, fitted with side-reinforcement and/or multiple cross-reinforcements, for good stability. Of course, our gauze belts can also be fitted with cleats, fingers or guide strips.
